During my years as a tattooer, I have learned so much from different artists, and love sharing what I’ve learned with others. A vast compilation of information is so valuable to an artist.
Fill out a form to apply for one of my mentorship options that I offer. The design critique and portfolio review are open to anyone, but the in person shadow day is only offered to artists currently working in shops (apprentices included), and your application must be accepted.
Single Design Critique $100
Whether you’re looking for feedback at the designing stage, or you have a design you’re about to tattoo, this option will give you a critique and some feedback on getting the artwork where you want it to be. This can be done over zoom, or in person at the studio.
Full Portfolio Review $200
This option includes a review of your current portfolio, plus two individual design critiques. I can guide you to better curate your work to hone in on your desired overall aesthetic, or help you build a portfolio to show artists while you seek out a tattoo apprenticeship. This can be done over zoom, or in person at the studio.
One day Shadow $300
This is a good option for those already practicing tattooing, but looking for a more in depth look at illustrative style tattooing. Before meeting, we’ll do a short consult to discuss your goals and what you’d like to get out of the experience. We’ll choose a day where I’m working on something of interest to you, and you’ll spend a day in the studio with me. You’ll be able to see my setup, ask questions during the tattoo, and see how I work in real time. I can also do a portfolio review at the end of the day if desired. Again, this is only open to tattoo artists (or apprentices) currently practicing at a studio.
